Das ist kein Vacuumschalter, sondern ein Magnetventil welches die DK umgeht und so die Drehzahl anhebt.

Center bolt of pulley 30Nm
4 bolts holding the large electro magnet to the compressor: 5Nm
On an 'original VAG' clutch this is on the sticker:

If i search for "MAE-6AR-1G" i find some ebay hits....
The inner bearings of the clutch can be changed, but easier to mount a good clutch.
I have still a used (but good) compressor and a used clutch for sale. If needed i could change all compressor gaskets for you. Did this also to the compressor in my car, it is running well since ~2010 with same R431 filling.
Also have a new filter-drier, TPS 0175092.
I have some documentation (in dutch) about the airco, including o-ring sizes:
York compressor 2x 15.5 x 1.8mm
york oil screw : 9.3x1.8mm
Condensor input (top side) 14.0x1.8mm (4 cylinder), 15.5x1.8mm (5 cylinder)
Condensor output (bottom) 7.5x1.8mm
Drier: 2x 7.5x1.8mm
High-pressure switch: no o-ring, use threat locking D6
Expansion valve: input 7.5x1.8mm, output: 15.5x1.8mm
Vapourizer: Output 14.0x1.8mm
Low pressure switch: 9.3x1.8mm
Temperature sensor 'tube' 4.5x1.8mm
Hose connections: 14x.1.8mm
To remove the pulley you need to have a imperial bolt to push off the pulley and bearing.
Loose the center screw
Screw in a 5/8" -11 bolt (yikes, inches!)
Hold pulley and turn bolt until pulley pops off.

The US or EU electronics are identical. Display needs to be dark, so i think the US BC was opened before and is probably damaged. Maybe the polarizer film is missing from the LCD?
